“Calling to You,” under the artistic direction of Deborah Abel and Lee Perlman, is an evocative melding of modern dance and original music exploring human connections through the integral lens of Western psychology and Eastern bhakti philosophy. The work honors the role of ancient yogic wisdom in addressing the modern problems of ennui, and personal and spiritual disconnection.

 

Nirupama Rao, Ambassador of India to the United States, attended one of the company’s sold-out Boston performances in March 2012, and called the performance “…spectacular in every sense and from every aspect.”

 

In December 2012, the entire dance company traveled to India to perform and share their vision.
